Head Here For A Digital Detox

The resort amid lush greenery is indeed a paradise for nature lovers. It is pretty close to Diveagar beach that you can head to for some adventurous water sports. They serve pure veg meals which tastes like homemade food. No food colour, perfect spices and oil make for the perfect gastronomic experience. The hospitality of the manager Mr.Patil and other staff is commendable. The a/c luxurious tents make for a royal stay at an affordable price. It makes for a rejuvenating holiday experience for families, friends and couples. The monsoons are the perfect time to explore this haven. Room Tip: You must opt for the A/C Luxury tents Stayed: June 2017, travelled with friends

"In the lap of nature"

The “Panthastha Prangan”, what a treat for pure vegetarian people @ Diveaagar, Konkan. This is second time I ma visiting this place. First time with friends and then with family. Both the experience were awesome. The resort’s architecture and space management is very good. Feels very close to nature. It’s beautiful, very well managed and no word for hospitality. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food quality is awesome. You may find room's fare bit higher side, but trust me, it's worth. Will definitely like to visit again and again, especially in monsoon. It was an awesome stay at Panthastha Prangan.

I visited Dive agar in April 14-15, 2017 with my wife. We were looking for a place which is hygienic and near to nature so that we can spend good time there. Luckily i found Panthastha just a day before my trip and contacted them and confirmed my arrival. I started from Pune at 8 AM and reached at resort 12.30 PM. I faced little bit difficulty in finding the resort but google map helped us though they have put boards on road/street also. When we reached there we were impressed with the natural beauty and well maintained resort. They offered welcome drink which was good. I had option to choose - AC Tent, Cooler Room and Semi Deluxe room but opted Cooler Room as there were already lots of trees and place was cooler then beach area. This resort is 2-3 Km away from the main dive agar beach so you need to go by your car/bike. This is pure vegetarian resort and food is awesome. We both loved the food they provided. They use only Patanjali products even they cooked food in Patanjali Ghee. We found lots of Mango tree which were full of mango. You will find car parking place under the tree. This resort is on low height hill area so you will have very good view from room/balcony.They have put some restrictions there but believe me these restrictions helped them to keep this place a clean and memorial place. BDW few of those restrictions are - footwear are not allowed in dining/reception area, smocking is not allowed in dining area. But i think these are not restriction, this is Indian culture. we dont wear anything in feet while having food at home also. Management and staff is very polite and helping. They offered us complementary Mango ice creams in dinner and gifted us a small bag during check out. Thanks for these. In nut shell i could not find anything bad in this resort and it is total paisa vasul resort. There is not much to visit in dive agar. We covered Dive agar beach and Janjira fort which is 13 Km from the resort. Last but not least :- My wife liked this place and food very much and this rarely happens. She always blames me for bad hotel experience but this time i escaped. :) Stayed: April 2017, travelled as a couple

Tranquil/ peaceful place

We 5 families visited this resort in Dec month. We stayed for 3 days. This resort is located in diveagar and about 1.5 km from main market. This resort is surrounded by thick forest and that provides u the no man zone. So u can relax and spend time with your family. This resort offers u different type of rooms like semi delexe, delexe and royal tent. Depending on ur budget and requirements. As we were 5 families we choose 3 semi delexe and 2 delexe rooms (only size is different). This resort is 2.5 km away from diveagar beach so u need seperate vehicle to reach to beach. Thats the first drawback. Second comes is the food, this resort is completely veg, so non veg food in their restaurant. Also outside non veg are not allowed. First time I had seen such a big list of do's and don'ts. So if you are perfectly OK then no issue, but if u want enjoy little bit and try to skip rules u get caught. But overall I recommend this resort for first time visit but not for 2nd time.

A nice place ..close to nature...

Stayed here for one day in October 2015 with the family . This was our first halt after leaving from Mumbai. We were on the entire Konkan tour and the first halt was itself very refreshing . Resort gives true feel of Konkan. Cottages, food, surrounding , hospitality keeps reminding you that you are in Konkan...I will love to come back again to stay for longer period Stayed: January 2016

Paradise On Earth

Panthastha Prangan literal translation is “Traveller’s Courtyard” ….. Given my experience @ stay , to say the least , its more of a “Traveller’s Paradise” ….. Had checked into this resort with family on the 17th of Dec’2016 & checked out on the 18th Now for our stay & experience of the same : Accomodation : We had booked a semi-deluxe cottage(non a/c) given it was winter season & being surrounded by lush green forest away from the hustle bustle of city life , we did not feel the need for an a/c cottage. Howvever , if you feel generous & want an a/c accomodation , there are options available. ? The room that we stayed in was very spacious & can easily accommodate 4 persons. Being a cleanliness freak that I am ;) , one point that I would like to highlight @ room & washrooms is that , inspite of it its inception 2 years ago , the “hygiene & cleanliness” maintained has been of very high standards without any compromise of any sort. Rest assured , you shall not be disapppointed on that count. Meals : Here , they serve “PURE VEG” food which I come to know that are made from home made species using natural flavours. No artificial coloring @ food or anything of that sort. You need to taste it & confirm for urself & at the end of it , am sure you shall be in agreement with me. You shall get more details @ meal plan & package from their website. Sight seeing : If you are the adventurous kind , you can visit the “Dive Agar” beach which is at a distance of just 10 mins. drive from the resort. Else , you can stay put @ resort & enjoy the calm & serene view of the mountains that it overlooks & lush greenery. The “Shri Vardhan” beach is also not far & if 20-25 Kms is not asking for too much , you can visit that as well. Last but not the least , the manager Mr Mahendra Patil is a very approachable person with a pleasing personality. He is always around to sort out issues (if u have any) & he always carries this smile on his face that makes things even simpler. He sure belongs to the “Smile Improves Your Face Value” Club . ? As for the rest , people , if you just wanna disconnect from the mundane city life & get yourself refereshed , Panthastha Prangan shud be a TOP PRIORITY on your destination list. Now enuf of reading , pack your bags , book an accomodation & get going!!! ? Regards Vivek PS . They have these new “AC Tents” as an alternative accomodation . Its beautifully made with ethnic décor along wth other facilities. If you wanna go for something different , this can be a wonderful option

Tranquil and Peaceful. Perfect place to rejuvenate onself

The place is almost inside a forest off Borli village on the Konkan coast. If you are looking for 5 star type comfort and amenities this is certainly not the place for you. However if you looking to spend some quality time in the midst of nature this resort is just the right thing for you. The amenities are basic yet more than sufficient. The property has around 14 cottages beautifully designed to house either couples or large extended families. There is ample space to roam around in side the property and enjoy nature at its best. There is an option of choosing AC tents though we chose the air cooled cottages. The best thing I was informed was that prices do not fluctuate and remain the same though the year. The Divagar beach is good 4-5 kms away and due to rather heavy rainfall this season the condition of roads was poor The resort serves veg food which is simple and homely. Breakfast is standard and is part of the package while lunch and dinner can be ordered off the menu. The staff is mostly from outside Maharashtra and generally take good care of you. The underlying concept of this resort is being one with nature and I truly enjoyed my stay over the weekend here. One piece of advice would be have your own transportation throughout the duration of stay. This part of the country does not have much in terms of public transport and there arent too many options to hire cabs locally either.

Vegetarian food at diveagar

Surprisingly, we couldn't find this resort online while we were searching for an accommodation at diveagar. Thankfully, one of the guys at our resort suggested this place for veg food. The name is little difficult to pronounce, but the resort is very simple nice clean rustic and village like. Food was really good and being vegetarians, we totally loved it. They even customized our food a bit. Only disadvantage is that it is a little inside, so far from beach and difficult to reach if you don't have your own car. It is amidst the jungle. Next time, we are surely gonna stay here while visiting diveagar.

VERY NICE PLACE BUT ONLY VEG

The A.C. tents are very nice, also food is good. They also sell Patanjali products and mangoes, which we were told made by organic farming. Service is also very nice, but were not provided the complimentary breakfast. Show less Room Tip: A/C tents are good. Stayed: June 2016, travelled as a couple

Only Pure Veg Resort

If you are a pure vegetarian, then this is the only and the best option for you. The resort is somewhat 5 km away from the Diveagar Beach. Its is somewhat isolated from the crowd, hence its very quiet and very Charmful. The Resort also have a very good parking place and also very good playing area. Room Tip: Choose away from restaurant Stayed: May 2016, travelled with family
